2025 Impact & 2026 Vision

Restoring Dignity. Creating Opportunity. Changing Generations.
In 2025, Tabitha Reach equipped single mothers in Ethiopia and Honduras with practical skills, mentorship, and support to earn an income and care for their children. Families are moving from daily survival to stability — because a community chose to invest in them.
Over 400 single mothers have been empowered through Tabitha Reach since inception.

2025 Impact

Since inception, Tabitha Reach has empowered 400+ single mothers.

Ethiopia — Expanding Skills and Employment Pathways

In 2025, Tabitha Reach expanded its work in Ethiopia through partnerships with local training centers, increasing access for single mothers to learn practical income-generating skills including sewing, hairdressing, housekeeping, catering, and barbering.

Two training groups of 20 women each completed the six-month program. Participants also received life-skills training and mentorship to build confidence and prepare for employment or small business work.

Early outcomes:

  • graduates obtaining employment or starting small businesses
  • mothers able to consistently provide food and school expenses for their children
  • increased confidence and stability within participating families

Tabitha Reach in Addis Ababa now has the capacity to train three groups of 20 single mothers simultaneously, expanding opportunities for more families each year.

Honduras — Strong Results in the First Year

In its first year, the Tabitha Reach center in La Entrada, Copán demonstrated clear impact in helping single mothers move toward financial stability. The center provides vocational training in acrylic nail services and sewing, along with mentorship, business guidance, and practical support so participants can complete the program and begin earning an income.

Early outcomes:

  • mothers generating income through sewing and nail services
  • improved ability to provide regular meals and school supplies for their children
  • increased household stability

The success has drawn attention beyond the immediate community. Leaders from other regions have reached out to learn about the program and invited Tabitha Reach to open similar centers in their localities. The work has also received unsolicited coverage on social media and on local and national television. The center has become a supportive community where women encourage one another and rebuild confidence in caring for their families.

A powerful first year that transformed lives and set the stage for lasting impact.

2025 Annual Fundraising Gala — A Community Making Impact Possible

The first Annual Tabitha Reach Fundraising Gala, held in San Jose, California on October 4, 2025, welcomed over 200 guests, bringing together supporters, local business sponsors, and community leaders around a shared mission: empowering single mothers to build sustainable futures for their families.

The event raised essential funding for programs in Ethiopia and Honduras and introduced many first-time supporters to the work of Tabitha Reach.

Beyond fundraising, the evening strengthened relationships and expanded awareness, allowing more families to be served in the year ahead. Every training program and transformed household is made possible through this growing community of supporters.

2026 Vision

Expanding Our Reach

In 2026, Tabitha Reach plans to expand its programs in both Ethiopia and Honduras, increasing the number of training groups and strengthening post-graduation support so more mothers can achieve long-term financial stability.

The organization aims to graduate over 100 mothers in Ethiopia and more than 70 in Honduras during the year, continuing its growing global impact on families facing poverty and social exclusion.

We are also exploring the opportunity to begin operations in Mexico, where community leaders have expressed interest in implementing the same training and mentorship model.

By building on a proven approach — practical skills training, mentorship, and income opportunity — Tabitha Reach seeks to help more families around the world move from dependency to independence.

After a strong year of growth in 2025, including Honduras’ first year of operations, Tabitha Reach enters 2026 with renewed passion and purpose.

Since inception, Tabitha Reach has empowered 400+ single mothers in Ethiopia and Honduras.

2026 Fundraising Gala

The second Annual Tabitha Reach Fundraising Gala is planned for October 2026 (final date and venue to be announced soon).

The event will support program growth and the continued expansion of Tabitha Reach’s impact around the world.
