Bessy faced a season of losses that challenged her life and purpose. Her partner emigrated abroad with the promise of returning for her and their son to build a better future together; a promise that vanished when her partner began a relationship with someone else abroad and forgot his responsibilities to his family in Honduras.  

At the same time, she received the news that her mother had died, leaving behind two young daughters. She then had to return to her village to help her father care for and raise her sisters. Suddenly, she found herself being a full-time mother, focusing on caring for others and neglecting her mental health, which prevented her from healthily coping with the grief of her losses and led her to sink into depression.  

When she saw a post by Tabitha Reach on Facebook, something inside her awakened, and she felt a deep desire to learn a skill. When the foundational module classes began, she realized that being at Tabitha Reach was part of a much greater purpose, as she needed to heal areas of her life in mourning, realizing that she had found the best place to heal and move forward in her life.  

In Tabitha, she has found the purpose her life needs to walk with strength. A deep need for God has awakened in her heart, and she has made significant changes in her faith. She has received Jesus into her heart and now feels motivated to learn a skill that will allow her to develop personally and generate income, improving her household's finances.
