Sulmy is a mother of three who had emigrated to the United States with her partner, but her life there became dangerous due to her partner’s violence and drug addiction. Constant threats and a lack of support forced her to return to her home country. At Tabitha Reach, she found a space to be heard and guided in healing from her trauma. She gained courage and direction for building a safer, more empowered future for herself and her children.

At Tabitha Reach, Sulmy identified with the stories of other mothers and received psychological support that continues to guide her daily. She is focused on learning acrylic nail skills and completing the course successfully to start her own business.
